PRESIDENT STATEMENT

As we enter a new decade, the Executive Committee wants to wish you a Very Happy, Healthy and Prosperous New Year filled with abundant blessings for you and the family.  We also want to thank our newest members for joining us in this auspicious year.

 

Before we proceed, we have to acknowledge that our Christmas celebration on December 14th, 2019 was a huge success and our Christmas brochure was the biggest and best one to date.  We could not have done it without your unstinting support, for which we thank you most sincerely.  While we prayed together at Mass for our own intentions and those in the community who are sick, we wanted to share our bounty with those deserving charities in India that need financial assistance. To that end, ICAA made donations to the Sisters of the Good Shepherd in Madlur District, Bellary, Karnataka, India and to Premdham Ashram, Bijnor District in Uttar Pradesh, India.

 

Speaking of our Christmas celebration, people commented very favorably on the beautiful Christmas décor in the Banquet Hall of Waterford Banquets, and the delicious and sumptuous food provided by them.  The vocal entertainment in 3 languages was enjoyed by all, as was the Children’s Tableau.  Santa’s arrival with Mrs. Santa in tow, bringing gifts to all the children was thrilling for parents and guests.  All this was capably handled by our M.C., who also called the Raffle winners, who were beside themselves with joy on the exquisite prizes they won. This was conducted during intermissions, while the dancers took to the floor and enjoyed dancing away to the music of the D.J. till 11 P.M.

 

 

ICAA is looking ahead with events planned for the year and we urge you to mark your calendars now so that you don’t miss out on the biggest and most important event of 2020 – the 60th Jubilee celebration of ICAA on 12/12/2020 at the Waterford Banquet Hall in Elmhurst.  Please pass on this information to your friends so they are in our midst when we celebrate this auspicious occasion.  Also, please feel free to give us your innovative suggestions and volunteer for the posts we’ll need to fill before 12/12/2020.
